Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Access Control due to improper handling of TLS sessions and certificate validation. An attacker with the capability to intercept network traffic could exploit this vulnerability by using a specially crafted certificate, leading to the application trusting it as the legitimate remote for the TLS session. This compromises the integrity of data in transit, particularly affecting the HTTP library and socket.starttls functionality.
