Upgrade postgresql to version 14.21, 15.16, 16.12, 17.8, 18.2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow via the pgp_pub_decrypt_bytea(), which missing a safeguard for the session key length read from the message data, that can be given in input of pgp_pub_decrypt_bytea(). An attacker can execute arbitrary code as the operating system user running the database by supplying a crafted ciphertext to the affected component.
