Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Access of Resource Using Incompatible Type ('Type Confusion') via the pg_restore_attribute_stats function when conflating range and multirange values. An attacker can execute arbitrary code as the operating system user running the database by exploiting this type confusion.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by revoking public EXECUTE permission on the function.
