Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow via the regexp process. An attacker can execute arbitrary code as the operating system user running the database by submitting specially crafted text that bypasses encoding validation, leading to unanticipated data growth when processed through pg_wchar.
