Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free via the handle_message_serial_control function in the Mavlink Shell Closing Handler process. An attacker can cause memory corruption or potentially execute arbitrary code by manipulating the _mavlink_shell argument after it has been freed. This is only exploitable if the attack is performed locally with low privileges and requires a high level of complexity.
