Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the virtio-blk SCSI request handling process due to improper validation of input descriptor sizes before writing data. An attacker can cause an out-of-bounds write in host heap memory and potentially disrupt the QEMU process by submitting a specially crafted SCSI request from a privileged guest.
