CWE-331  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade qemu-project/qemu to version 2.6.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insecure Randomness. QEMU, when built with the Pseudo Random Number Generator (PRNG) back-end support, allows local guest OS users to cause a denial of service (process crash) via an entropy request, which triggers arbitrary stack based allocation and memory corruption.
