Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Access of Resource Using Incompatible Type ('Type Confusion') via the SVG marker reference process. An attacker can cause the application to enter an infinite loop and crash by providing a specially crafted SVG image that triggers incorrect data type handling during SVG processing.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the processing of untrusted SVG images, exercising caution when opening SVG files from unknown sources, and configuring applications to restrict the loading or rendering of SVG content from untrusted origins.
