Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow due to missing bounds checking in the _handle_char function. An attacker can cause memory corruption and application crash by sending crafted serial or TCP-framed input that results in a write past the end of a fixed-size stack buffer.
