CWE-120  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

There is no fixed version for riot-os/riot.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Buffer Overflow due to the _on_rd_init function not implementing a size check before copying data to the _result_buf static buffer. An attacker can cause a buffer overflow by crafting a long enough payload. This could range from denial of service to arbitrary code execution.
