Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Path Traversal via the reposdir configuration parameter, which can contain an arbitrary pathname. An attacker can use this to elevate to root privileges by loading an arbitrary plugin, if they have write access to a local directory. This vulnerability is a special case that works around the fix for the vulnerability previously reported as CVE-2024-1929 and fixed.
