Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the Unpack::CopyString() function of RAR unpack module. An attacker can cause a crash or achieve memory corruption, potentially leading to remote code execution, by submitting a specially crafted RAR file within a disk image.
