Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the SOCKS5 reply parsing process. An attacker can overwrite adjacent heap memory with arbitrary data by sending a maliciously crafted SOCKS5 reply containing a negative domain name length value, which is improperly handled and leads to an unbounded heap write.
