Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the SSL Certificate validation process. An attacker can cause a denial of service by exploiting the improper input validation. This is only exploitable if the SSL-Bump features are enabled.

Mitigation: This vulnerability can be mitigated by either disabling the use of SSL-Bump features by removing all ssl-bump options from http_port and https_port and all ssl_bump directives from squid.conf, or by rebuilding Squid using --without-openssl.
