Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use of a Broken or Risky Cryptographic Algorithm via incorrect handling of the Initialization Vector (IV) during cryptographic operations. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information by exploiting weaknesses in the cryptographic process due to the reuse of the initial IV.

Note: This vulnerable logic is only applied when using OpenSSL >= 3.0.
