Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow via the save process when handling datasets with excessively large data. An attacker can cause a denial of service by providing a dataset entry that exceeds the stack buffer size.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the use of rules with datasets save or state options.
