Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insufficient Granularity of Access Control in the systemd-machined servicedue to insufficient validation of the RegisterMachine D-Bus method's class parameter. An attacker can gain elevated privileges by registering a machine with a crafted class value, which may result in the creation of an attacker-controlled machine object. This object can then be used to invoke privileged methods, potentially leading to arbitrary command execution with root privileges on the host system.
