Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authentication for Critical Function due to the lack of authentication in the wire protocol, which allows unauthenticated clients to connect and perform privileged operations such as publish, subscribe, and DB_CLEAR. An attacker can gain unauthorized access and execute privileged actions by connecting with arbitrary client names and bypassing protocol checks.
