Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use of Uninitialized Variable in the NTLM authentication process for POP3 and SMTP servers when the server's challenge is not validated as proper base64. An attacker can access uninitialized heap memory or cause a crash by sending a specially crafted challenge, such as one consisting only of base64 padding.
