Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor via the handling of RSS feed redirection using the itunes:new-feed-url or newLocation elements. An attacker can cause the application to read local files or, on Windows, connect to a remote network share and potentially leak NTLM credentials by supplying a malicious feed or modifying a feed delivered over HTTP. This is only exploitable if the application is running on Windows for NTLM credential leakage; on other operating systems, only local file reading is possible.
