Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Access Restriction Bypass that allows an attacker who can convince a user to point the Mozilla Maintenance Service at a malicious SMB server to apply an unsigned update, bypassing the write-lock mechanism which is not triggered by SMB operations.
NOTE: Only Windows systems are vulnerable.
