Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to HTTP Request Smuggling due to case-sensitive handling of the Transfer-Encoding header in the is_chunked_transfer function. An attacker can exhaust backend server resources or bypass security controls by sending specially crafted HTTP requests with non-lowercase transfer-coding values, causing inconsistent request states and potentially forwarding unread request bodies without inspection.
