The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Restriction of Operations within the Bounds of a Memory Buffer in the __ip6_tnl_rcv process. An attacker can cause kernel memory corruption and potentially trigger a denial of service by sending specially crafted IPv6 packets with truncated inner headers to a system with an affected tunnel endpoint configured. This may result in the reading of uninitialized kernel heap memory and modification of kernel memory outside the intended packet buffer, leading to kernel pointer corruption and possible system crashes.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
