The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in the smb2_reconnect_server process when a session is accessed after it has already been freed by another thread, leading to use-after-free conditions. An attacker can achieve remote code execution or leak sensitive kernel memory by manipulating SMB session states through crafted network traffic from a malicious or compromised SMB server or an on-path attacker.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
