The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncontrolled Resource Consumption in the br_nf_local_in process. An attacker can cause a kernel panic and denial of service by sending specially crafted broadcast packets to a tap device attached to a bridge, triggering a conntrack hash collision and stale pointer read in the netfilter subsystem. This is only exploitable if the system is configured with br_netfilter, conntrack, and bridge enabled, which is the default on many container and virtualization hosts.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
