How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 5.10.258, 5.15.209, 6.1.175, 6.6.136, 6.12.83, 6.18.24, 6.19.14 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free via the unix_state_lock process. An attacker can cause disclosure of sensitive kernel memory, modify kernel data, or trigger a denial of service by racing the closure and diagnostic querying of AF_UNIX sockets, leading to use-after-free conditions in the VFS path handling.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
