The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.
In a few clicks we can analyze your entire application and see what components are vulnerable in your application, and suggest you quick fixes.
Test your applicationsUpgrade torvalds/linux to version 6.12.92, 6.18.34, 7.0.11 or higher.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write due to improper validation of integrity segment counts in the blk_insert_cloned_request process. An attacker can cause kernel memory corruption and potentially achieve arbitrary code execution or denial of service by submitting specially crafted I/O requests to a vulnerable storage topology. This is only exploitable if the system is configured with a request-based device-mapper multipath setup that fans out to NVMe/RDMA or iSER targets with protection information enabled and unauthenticated remote initiators are permitted.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
