The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.
In a few clicks we can analyze your entire application and see what components are vulnerable in your application, and suggest you quick fixes.
Test your applicationsUpgrade torvalds/linux to version 6.18.40, 7.1.5 or higher.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in the rxrpc_recvmsg_oob process. An attacker can cause memory corruption and potentially execute arbitrary code or escalate privileges by sending crafted RxRPC/AFS CHALLENGE packets over UDP to a victim AF_RXRPC client socket, triggering double-free and use-after-free conditions during socket teardown when the victim closes the socket after processing authentication challenges with MSG_PEEK and RXRPC_MANAGE_RESPONSE enabled. This is only exploitable if the victim application uses MSG_PEEK with RXRPC_MANAGE_RESPONSE enabled and subsequently closes the socket.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
