The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Start learningUpgrade torvalds/linux to version 6.1.183, 6.6.151, 6.12.103, 6.18.44, 7.1.8 or higher.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference in the kfd_criu_checkpoint_events process. An attacker can cause kernel heap corruption, privilege escalation, or denial of service by exploiting a race condition between event creation or destruction and checkpointing, leading to use-after-free or out-of-bounds writes in kernel memory. This is only exploitable if the attacker has access to /dev/kfd and the necessary capabilities (CAP_CHECKPOINT_RESTORE or CAP_SYS_ADMIN), which can be obtained via a user namespace.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
