The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the strnlen function on RISC-V systems with ZBB extension, which reads memory past the intended boundary when processing certain SMB network data. An attacker can access sensitive kernel memory or cause a kernel crash by sending specially crafted SMB packets that manipulate string length and alignment conditions. This is only exploitable if the system is running a RISC-V kernel with ZBB enabled and is exposed to SMB network traffic.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
