The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.
In a few clicks we can analyze your entire application and see what components are vulnerable in your application, and suggest you quick fixes.
Test your applicationsUpgrade torvalds/linux to version 5.10.266, 5.15.217, 6.1.184, 6.6.153, 6.12.105, 6.18.46, 7.1.10 or higher.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Buffer Overflow via the rmi_f54_buffer_queue process. An attacker can cause a kernel heap out-of-bounds write by changing the diagnostic input mid-stream, resulting in a larger report size than the allocated V4L2 buffers, and then queuing buffers to trigger the overflow. This can lead to exposure or corruption of adjacent kernel memory, arbitrary memory write, code execution, or denial of service by issuing specific ioctl sequences to the affected device node.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
