The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference in the cpumf_pmu_add function when CPUs are hotplugged during performance monitoring operations. An attacker can cause a kernel panic and system crash by triggering CPU hotplug events while performance monitoring is active, leading the scheduler to run a process on a CPU that lacks initialized per-CPU event infrastructure. This is only exploitable if the CPUMF facility is used in per-task context and the scheduler assigns the process to a CPU that was offline during event initialization.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
