How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 5.15.222, 6.1.189, 6.6.158, 6.12.111, 6.18.53 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-Bounds via the process_read and process_write functions when handling network-supplied message fields. An attacker can access memory outside the intended bounds by sending crafted RDMA messages with manipulated length values, potentially leading to unauthorized data exposure, data corruption, or system instability.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
