CVE-2026-93177  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-125  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 5.10.270, 5.15.221, 6.1.188, 6.6.157, 6.12.110, 6.18.52, 7.2.6 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-Bounds via improper bounds checking of indices in the vega10_patch_voltage_dependency_tables_with_lookup_table process. An attacker can cause heap overreads and partial memory corruption by supplying crafted indices to the voltage lookup tables through sysfs, potentially leading to information disclosure, GPU reset, or denial of service.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
