The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.
In a few clicks we can analyze your entire application and see what components are vulnerable in your application, and suggest you quick fixes.
Test your applicationsUpgrade torvalds/linux to version 6.12.111, 6.18.53, 7.2.7 or higher.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in the vhost_vdpa_config_cb process. An attacker can cause memory corruption or system instability by triggering a race condition between configuration callbacks and context replacement, leading to dereferencing of freed memory. This is only exploitable if an attacker has access to /dev/vduse and can inject configuration interrupts while another thread swaps the call file descriptor on the vhost-vdpa file descriptor.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
