How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 5.10.271, 5.15.222, 6.1.189, 6.6.158, 6.12.111, 6.18.53, 7.2.7 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in the ipv6_route_native_seq_stop process. An attacker can achieve kernel memory disclosure, memory corruption, or privilege escalation by racing a local read of /proc/net/ipv6_route or the BPF ipv6_route iterator with route deletion operations, leading to use of freed kernel memory.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
