The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure through improper validation of sector boundaries in the vdpasim_blk_check_range process. An attacker can read or write arbitrary host kernel memory by submitting crafted requests with out-of-range sector values via a controlled virtqueue driver, such as from a guest VM or a user with access to the vhost-vdpa character device. This is only exploitable if a vdpa_sim_blk device has been created and assigned to the attacker.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
