The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Operation on a Resource after Expiration or Release in the cachefiles_create_tmpfile process. An attacker can cause memory corruption and potentially execute arbitrary code or crash the system by triggering a double release of file references during error handling in specific kernel file operations. This is only exploitable if a local user has read access on an already-bound cachefiles/fscache mount and the underlying filesystem's tmpfile implementation lacks certain operation handlers.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
