The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure in the receive_encrypted_standard process. An attacker can gain access to sensitive kernel memory contents and potentially execute arbitrary code by sending specially crafted encrypted SMB2 compound responses from a malicious SMB server to a client system. This is only exploitable if a user mounts or is redirected to a share hosted on an attacker-controlled server before any encrypted compound response is received.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
