How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 6.1.189, 6.6.158, 6.12.112, 6.18.54, 7.2.8 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions in the swsusp_arch_suspend_exit process. An attacker can cause the system to hang after resuming from hibernation by manipulating the arguments passed to the hypervisor call, resulting in the kernel referencing a released memory page. This is only exploitable if the system is configured with CONFIG_PAGE_POISONING=y and page_poison=on.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
