How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 6.6.158, 6.12.111, 6.18.53, 7.2.7 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in the btrfs_insert_one_raid_extent process. An attacker can cause memory corruption, leak kernel memory, or crash the system by triggering a failure in RAID stripe extent allocation, leading to premature transaction cleanup and subsequent use of freed objects. This is only exploitable if the system is running with the non-default CONFIG_BTRFS_EXPERIMENTAL kernel configuration and an administrator has created and mounted a RAID_STRIPE_TREE filesystem under conditions of system-wide memory exhaustion.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
