The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Test your applicationsUpgrade torvalds/linux to version 4.10, 4.15, 4.19, 6.1.189, 6.6.158, 6.12.112, 6.18.54, 7.2.8 or higher.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read via the smb3_enum_snapshots function. An attacker can cause sensitive kernel memory to be disclosed to user space and potentially trigger a kernel crash by sending a specially crafted SMB2 IOCTL response with a short OutputCount value from a malicious SMB server. This is only exploitable if a user mounts a share from an attacker-controlled server and a process on the client issues an ioctl(CIFS_ENUMERATE_SNAPSHOTS) call on a file within that share.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
