The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free through improper handling of namespace references in the legitimize_ns process. An attacker can cause kernel memory corruption, privilege escalation, or denial of service by repeatedly invoking the listns syscall while concurrently creating and tearing down mount namespaces, leading to use-after-free conditions and potential execution of attacker-controlled code within the kernel.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
