How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 6.6.158, 6.12.111, 6.18.53, 7.2.7 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Buffer Overflow in the rockchip_vpu981_av1_dec_set_tile_info process. An attacker can achieve arbitrary kernel memory read and write by submitting crafted AV1 frames with manipulated tile group entries via V4L2 request ioctls to the decoder device node. This may result in disclosure of sensitive information, corruption of kernel memory, or denial of service by triggering a kernel panic.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
