How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 5.10.271, 5.15.222, 6.1.189, 6.6.158, 6.12.112, 6.18.54, 7.2.8 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in the netfilter process. An attacker can achieve kernel memory corruption and potential privilege escalation by manipulating flowtable entries and triggering use-after-free conditions through controlled packet flows, conntrack deletions, and forced garbage collection within a network namespace. This is only exploitable if the attacker has CAP_NET_ADMIN privileges in a user namespace and can configure nftables flowtables, veth forwarding, and initiate conntrack deletions.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
