How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 6.12.111, 6.18.53, 7.2.7 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-Bounds in the btintel_pcie_submit_rx_work process when handling the packet_len field from rfh_hdr. An attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds read by supplying a crafted or manipulated packet_len value that exceeds the RX buffer size, potentially leading to information disclosure or system instability. This is only exploitable if an attacker can provide customized firmware or modify the rfh_hdr->packet_len value before the process is called.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
