Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 5.10.271, 5.15.222, 6.1.189, 6.6.158, 6.12.112, 6.18.54, 7.2.8 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in the isert_put_cmd process. An attacker can cause kernel memory corruption or crash the target host by triggering a race condition between deferred control PDU completions and connection teardown, leading to access of freed memory.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
