How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 5.15.222, 6.1.189, 6.6.158, 6.12.111, 6.18.53, 7.2.7 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in the nvme_rdma_queue_rq process. An attacker can cause memory corruption or crash the system by submitting crafted I/O requests that trigger double cleanup and improper DMA unmapping. This is only exploitable if a DMA mapping failure or a host channel adapter enters an internal error state, and the freed tag is reused between completion and stale cleanup.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
