The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in the css_task_iter_next process. An attacker can cause memory corruption and potential privilege escalation by exploiting a race condition that allows use-after-free of a task_struct object when its reference count drops to zero during iteration of dying tasks. This can be triggered by repeatedly reading cgroup.procs while manipulating thread group exits in a controlled manner.
Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
