How to fix?

Upgrade torvalds/linux to version 6.12.111, 6.18.53, 7.2.7 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Buffer Overflow in the qdisc_pkt_len_segs_init process. An attacker can cause a crash or trigger a page fault by forwarding specially crafted encapsulated packets with GSO metadata through a tunnel, leading to an out-of-bounds read when the transport header is not properly reset after tunnel decapsulation. This is only exploitable if the packet is encapsulated, carries GSO metadata, is not delivered to the local IP stack, and is forwarded at L2 by a bridge or HSR.

Note: The Linux kernel project assigns a CVE to every bug fix it ships, whether or not the bug has been shown to be exploitable. This advisory was generated from that process and has not been individually assessed for exploitability. See the kernel's CVE process documentation: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/Documentation/process/cve.rst
